Yellow columbine is somewhat smaller than the other offered species with mostly pure yellow flowers though it is freely hybridized by bumblebees and hummingbirds so expect some variation.

 I like to mix the columbines and let their indiscriminate cross pollinating nature produce interesting variations.  Each year we find new versions.  Having no record of the varieties planted by family members over the years, we just enjoy the show and let the scientific classifications go by the wayside.
