Oregon iris blooms in late spring, blue to purple to lavender flowers. Habitat is open fields to open woodland areas which dry out in summer. Spreading clumps and self-seeding with foliage to about 10". The normally purple/blue flower spikes can sometimes be yellow or white. I like to plant these in groupings between taller shrubs on the sunny side. Very easy. |
