Tiger lily is a large native lily with bright orange speckled flowers hanging on 2 to 4 foot stems. It grows in meadows to open forest, but more often, in our area, near streams and springs.  Can be grown in light shade to full sun.  This is truly a stunning plant which given it's height and bright color, can be seen from a long distance.  We like to mix them in with other perennials to the back of flower beds.  Not a container plant.
